Masters (by thesis only) in Speech Science
& Postgraduate Diploma in Science in Speech Science

Who for: These qualifications are intended for graduates with bachelors degrees who are interested in speech related areas. They would be relevant to practising Speech Language Therapists with a bachelor's degree.

Relevant Backgrounds: linguistics, psychology, audiology, engineering, education, and computer science.

What it involves:

Postgraduate Diploma
- this one year course requires students to complete 120 points worth of courses in a speech-related areas.

Masters Thesis - This involves one year of study. Students complete a 120 point thesis on a Speech Science related topic.

Students interested in thesis research should approach the Head of Speech Science (Associate Professor Suzanne Purdy). Entry into the programme is dependent on grades and supervisor availability .
