Biography

Andrea completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Auckland with a double major in Psychology and Geography, followed by a Masters of Psychology and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Psychology which led to registration on the New Zealand Psychologists Board. Andrea is a recipient of a Dean's excellence in teaching award for 2011.

Teaching

Andrea is the course coordinator of and lectures in Psych 108.

As a Senior tutor Andrea is responsible for the running of Psych 108 and is also available for advice regarding psych 109.

Andrea is available to provide information on the following:

  • Stage One, Two and Three - Enrolment queries, degree planning and Career paths in Psychology
  • The Tuākana programme for Māori and Pacific students
  • Enrolment in the Psychology Department Bridging Programme
  • Participation in Psychology Research
  • Tutor training and positions within Psychology
