Research interests have included psychological treatments for common problems of childhood and adolescence, child abuse, parental separation, children’s participation in the courts, and adolescent suicide. Recent projects have included 'action research' with a focus on development of enhanced services for child abuse investigation and treatment, and for the resolution of family conflict following parents’ separation.
This research involves working in partnership with practitioners in order to maintain the relevance of the work and to promote translation of research results into improved service delivery.
