Postgraduate study options
Our postgraduate programmes are designed to take students to the cutting edge of their discipline. Postgraduate courses are taught by research-active staff who also supervise student self-directed projects, dissertations and theses.

Students have the option of completing their Honours after a BSc.
The department offers the option of the Postgraduate Diploma in Arts (PGDipArts) or Science (PGDipSci) in Psychology.
We offer a 3-year programme in Applied Behaviour Analysis, a scientific approach to understanding and changing human behaviour.
Clinical Psychology is offered as a doctoral programme of study. This programme is restricted to New Zealand and Australian citizens/residents.
Industrial Work and Organisational Psychology can be studied as a 3-year specialisation.
Speech Science is availabe at postgraduate level as a Postgraduate Diploma in Science or a Master of Science.
The programme is made up of three core courses which provide students with a detailed background in cutting edge research on how people think, feel, and behave in society.
