Analyses of NZAVS data are conducted primarily in the statistical modeling program Mplus. This section contains an archive of the Mplus syntax files for scientific publications from the NZAVS. This provides formal documentation for the statistical models published using data from the NZAVS, and is designed to supplement material reported in published papers. NZAVS data is stored in a standard format, and these syntax files are written to work with that standard NZAVS format. The database key and information about item content are available on the NZAVS Technical Documents page.

Note that the NZAVS data referred to in these syntax files is not publicly available. Anonymous data from the NZAVS may be provided on a case-by-case basis to appropriately qualified researchers for the purposes of developing novel joint collaborative research projects using the data, or replicating analyses reported in published NZAVS papers. To read more about how to request a report or policy brief using NZAVS data, please go to the NZAVS policy briefs page
