Industrial and Organisational Psychology Research Group

Welcome to the Industrial and Organisational Psychology Research Group.

Research topics include organisational psychology in general and occupational health psychology in particular.

Examples of topics being currently investigated include various work stressors (e.g., job insecurity, work incivility, abusive leadership) and their negative consequences (e.g., decreased wellbeing, increased accidents and injuries), as well as the underlying mechanisms (e.g., rumination) and boundary conditions (e.g., organisational climate, individual differences).

The ultimate goal of I/O research group is to develop effective multilevel interventions and create healthy and safe organisations.

Many studies have been student-initiated research projects. So, if you have a great idea for some I/O-related research, but don’t see it described on her page, chances are you can still pursue your interests.

See Dr Lixin Jiang’s page to learn more about her research and contact her to find out how you can get involved!
