Department of Psychology
Experimental Analysis of Behaviour Research Unit
We are a group of staff and students interested in quantitative and experimental approaches to the understanding of animal and human behaviour in both natural and experimental settings.
Dr Douglas Elliffe, the Head of Department here at the Department of Psychology is our Director. Other group members, from both the University and AUT include Prof Michael Davison, Dr Christian Krägeloh, Dr Jason Landon, Dr William Baum, Dr Michael Navakatikyan and Dr Chris Podlesnik.
Our group holds seminars and arranges talks from visiting experts. In 2009 we were awarded the Association for Behaviour Analysis International’s Award for Sustained Programmatic Contributions to Behavior Analysis. This was the first time that an organisation outside the USA had been given this honour.
